QFGC SF6 Online Debut Tournament

Welcome to Qatar FGCs debut tournament for Street Fighter 6! This is the first of a series of community-run online tournaments to engage the community and grow our collective skill by playing seasoned veterans and those who are new to the game. Make sure to register and leave it all on the field!

Tournament Format:

 ·         This tournament will run in a double elimination format

 ·         You start in the winner's bracket

 ·         Losing puts you into the loser's bracket and losing again results in a knock out.

Game Rules:

 ·         99 Seconds Round Time

 ·         Best 2 out of 3 rounds

 ·         Pool sets are best of 3 (first to 2)

 ·         Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals will be best of 5 (first to 3)

 ·         All characters and stages allowed

 ·         Modern and Classic controls are both allowed

General Tournament Rules:

 ·         The tournament will be run online over Discord. If you are not present on discord during the tournament, you will be disqualified.

 ·         Make sure to join the QFGC discord 

 ·         Player matches will be called on Discord. After the first call, each player has to respond within 5 minutes or they will be disqualified and the set will count as a loss. Please notify the organizers if you have any issues.

·         Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited! Please ensure that you have the best connection possible and an ethernet cable as it affects both you and your opponent's experience.

·         Disconnects: In case you disconnect from a match due to factors out of your control (E.g. Power outage, ISP problems), inform the tournament organizers ASAP. Your opponent will then be asked if they are willing to re-do the match.

·         In the case that the connected player does not want to rematch the disconnected player loses one game.

·         Rage Quits will lead to immediate disqualification due to unsportsmanlike behavior.

·         Be respectful to the other participants as well as the organizers. Any inappropriate behavior can result in the organizers taking strict action.
